My name is Justin, and I’m a Community Planner, sort of. I’m trying to land my first real job as a Planner, and I had this crazy idea to start a blog about it. This has a few benefits I guess, one being to show potential employers how serious I am about my career, and how hard I’m working to make it in this world, and especially, this profession. Another benefit is to entertain. People can read this and just “get away”, kind of like a reality TV show. Some could read this to pass the time, to see what someone else is going through, or just to be nosy. I don’t care either way, as long the reader enjoys it. But, I guess my the main benefit to this blog is to let off some steam. Here I can write about planning practices, potential leads, and what I’m currently working on to make my self more marketable. I say it’s a way to let off steam, because if I don’t share this with someone, I fear I may just loose my mind. Ok, I may not loose my mind, but like I always say… it could be fun.
So I’m going to get started, and write about my journey to that first real job, and ya’ll stick around.
